Making Health Global Day at the Queen Victoria Market

Posted on 23 August 2010 by Ariani Soejoeti

Come and join us this Saturday as the Queen Victoria Market gets transformed into a giant global health themed fun fair. Come along and tie your wish to the wishing tree, have a spin on life’s wheel of fortune or take a shot at the Robin Hood Tax target. Whatever you fancy, there’ll be something for you!

It’s your chance to have fun and win prizes while doing your shopping at the market and its happening this Saturday 28 August. Make Poverty History is partnering with the market to engage visitors in a fun way with the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and global health.

This is one of a number of public events associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information Conference being held in Melbourne 30 August – 1 September. The conference is focused on global health issues and the MDGs.
