Walk Against Warming

A Global Day of Action on Climate Change, Saturday 12 December 2009

Join in Walk against Warming this December,
to demand our leaders take strong and urgent action on climate change.

From December 7-18 the governments of the world meet in Copenhagen to decide on a new global climate treaty. This meeting is one of the world’s last chances to avoid catastrophic climate change and provide a safe and just future for millions of people already feeling climate impacts in developing countries.

It is a critical moment, not just for Australia but for the whole planet. Your voice has never been more important. Join thousands of other Australians taking to the streets, demanding our government help deliver a fair ambitious and binding global climate agreement.

Show your support for strong climate action and Walk Against Warming with Make Poverty History on December 12.
