UN Climate Trackers:
Join the global climate change negotiations from your computer

This is the year to achieve a global agreement to tackle climate change – the next United Nations negotiations start on 1 June. To stop catastrophic climate change we need the Australian Government to play a constructive role in the negotiations. You can help make this happen by becoming an UN Climate Tracker.

What UN Climate Trackers will do

As a UN Climate Tracker you will receive regular email updates during each round of climate negotiations via a special e-monitors blog site. These updates will come from our climate change experts at the negotiations and will provide you with the latest inside information.

UN Climate Trackers will commit to take at least two urgent email actions during each UN meeting. By doing this you will demonstrate that Australians are concerned about climate change by monitoring the government’s behaviour at these meetings. Make Poverty History will email you these urgent email actions.

UN meeting dates

The planned climate change meetings include:

  • 1-12 June in Bonn
  • 28 September-9 October in Bangkok
  • 2-6 November (location to be confirmed)
  • 7-18 December in Copenhagen
