Hyundai Motor Company Australia has joined with Make Poverty History to launch the exciting Share Your Dream video competition, asking Australians how we can engineer change in our lives to help end global poverty.
Make Poverty History co-chair and Oaktree CEO, Viv Benjamin said “This is a great opportunity for aspiring film makers and ordinary Australians alike to get involved.”
“Film is a powerful tool for engaging people. We know there are many creative Make Poverty History supporters who care deeply about the eradication of poverty,” she said.
Hyundai Australia PR General Manager, Bill Thomas, said “We at Hyundai Motor Company Australia are tremendously proud of our ongoing association with Make Poverty History. We are delighted to promote the Share Your Dream film competition and look forward to watching the final product.”
This film competition encourages community members to harness their passion for justice and use their creativity on film to encourage others to take action.
“And what a prize!” Ms Benjamin said, “imagine using your own creative gift to tell a story and having your film shown at the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival in 2014.”
Make Poverty History were thrilled to work with Production Company Radical Orange on the development of a video to promote the competition. It was launched at a recent A League game to great acclaim and can be viewed here.
“With today’s technology, handheld cameras and smart phones, we can all be film-makers. So have a go! Share your dream to end global poverty and bring dignity to the poor,” Ms Benjamin concluded.
